Mavrik Marketing was founded by noted and quoted marketing strategist Rachel Weingarten. For over a decade and a half, Rachel has created and implemented marketing and promotional strategies for  companies and properties including Microsoft, Sprint, Nuance Communications, Cablevision, CNN, Dansko shoes, Little Brown, American Idol, The Harry Potter book collection, The Gossip Girl Book collection/TV series, Dreamworks, Johnson & Johnson, Links of London, L’Oreal, Procter and Gamble, Rakuten, Yale University, NYC Small Business Services and celebrities and personalities including Christina Aguilera.

Rachel has written three non-fiction award-winning books. Her most recent, Ancient Prayer: Channeling Your Faith 365 Days of the Year (Fall River Press 1/16) was the first faith based title commissioned by Barnes and Noble . She’s also the author of Career and Corporate Cool, one of Entrepreneur  magazine and CareerBuilder’s pick for best books of the year; and Hello Gorgeous! Beauty Products in America ’40s-’60s, a NY Public Library pick for book of the year/books for the teen age. Rachel is also regularly quoted about business and style and the business of style in publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, to Glamour Magazine and the AP.

She’s appeared as an expert on trends, business and style expert on TV shows including Good Morning America, ABC News, The Today Show and was the creator and on-air host of CNN series Enterprising Women.

Rachel is a sometimes university professor and has taught personal branding in the graduate and undergraduate programs at New York University as well as lecturing on the history of cosmetic and fragrance marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology. In summer 2016, Rachel developed a class called “From Cleopatra to the Kardashians, a brief history of beauty and its impact on culture and pop culture” at Parsons in association with LVMH. Rachel is a sought after public speaker covering topics ranging from personal branding, to women in the workplace, spirituality and modern etiquette. She has keynoted at the Cosmetics Chemists Association and  leads business etiquette workshops for Fortune 100 companies.
